I just recently was diagnosed with post traumatic Fibromyalgia. I was in a very bad car accident that has lead me to nothing but problems. one being my lack of motivation in every day living. what have you done to help gain back your independence

That's a rough one. I got fibro after having mononucleosis in college and spent a long time feeling similar. I think the best thing you can do in this situation is set up small habits to take care of yourself and to explicitly just be kind to yourself. Meditate, take a long bath, take a walk outside, study a topic that interests you, anything that you think you can do on a three-day-a-week to daily basis. Make it just for you. For me, it started as doing five minutes of DuoLingo a day. Having something little like that helps make your life feel a little more purposeful and a little more under your control. I am sorry to hear about your accident. In the same boat with ya. I try to take it day by day instead of looking at EVERYTHING that needs done as a whole. Other than that, I pray we both find answers.
