Im starting Adderall for the first time because I reached a point where I couldn't manage it on my own anymore and it's only been a day but I regret not doing this earlier.

It’s the best! But after being on it for many years now, my tolerance has built itself up. I’m taking the max dosage and it no longer works - but it was a miracle at the beginning! I’m so glad it’s working for you! ❤️

I’ve never tried it cause I always wanted to try natural methods and see if I can manage it on my own but it’s hard. I forget everything and feel stupid. Also having hypothyroid symptoms make it worse. My mind is so cloudy 😣 I’m glad that you found something that works for you! That’s awesome! I think I’m afraid it’ll change my personality cause I’ve tried some natural supplements that kinda did that and I don’t like it. I thought if I tried something prescribed that it’ll be even worse but I’ve never even tried it lol. So I really don’t know.

@NiqueMK I'm not sure what you mean by changing your personality so I'm not sure if this is helpful, however I'm on a ton of meds for managing pain and other physical chronic illnesses so I understand the concern about adding another medication into the mix. Half of what I take are supplements to help my body handle the medicine as safety as possible. But I can say you are never required to take a medicine. You can try something and if it doesn't work out you stop. I have a chart I'm using to track what I take with my Adderall and when I take it and go we my sleep is impacted so I can figure out what the best system for me is and if it turns out that after research and experimention there is no good way to overcome a problem I'm experiencing. Then I can stop and tell my doctors and pharmacist about it and try something else. But I have been taking it for a little while now and I feel *More* like myself again, and more in control.

@Magpi when I did some research on taking stimulant ADD medication sometimes I would see ppl saying how it changed their personality a bit. They weren’t as social as they used to be or it made them more aggravated by certain things. I know I can choose whether or not I take it. I’ve just always been hesitant about it. And I should just try it and see to make sure. It’s really great that you are tracking everything! I attempt to do it but then forget to keep up with it.

I remember I cried the first couple times I took it. I couldn't believe I could actually get things done and feel effective.
