Never stop meds cold turkey, it's dangerous and definitely not worth it. Always be open and honest with those around you, especially your therapist and psychiatrist. You are valid, you are human, you aren't broken helps yo remember that,

Never go off your meds on your own. Work with your doctor even if you think you're completely better it might be your meds working! Also have a plan when you have depressive episodes make sure you have therapy/someone to talk to definitely

@AnythingPossible36 Take your prescribed meds. If there are side effects you don't like you can work with your Dr to find new meds but don't stop taking what you are on!
@Wi94 ^agreed! It took me 4 failed meds to finally find one that works and doesn’t give me any bad side effects. Be honest with your doc— you’re your best advocate!
