Is it worth maintaining a relationship with people who initially force themselves to be polite about your OSDD/DID? Would it be worth putting in the effort to have them fully understand and accept you and your system members?

i'd say it depends on how willing the person is to learn about and respect you guys as a system. if they are willing to be open minded, i'd say it's worth it. if they aren't willing, then they probably aren't worth it
