Feeling Invalidated and Indifferent Due to Chronic Pain

Yeah for sure! I was told very negative things in the past by people I’m close to, so since then I’ve gotten very good at hiding the pain, which makes people think I’m faking it. People also don’t think about it if you don’t show it, and they invalidate your problems because “theirs are bigger”. I personally just look at it as to them their problems are big, but they are different from mine, so I don’t have a place to judge
