      i have a stepfather who's similar to that... I'm always to blame, and if not me then the other kids are... it's really difficult to live with him, but i still love him like my own dad

      I have a dad that’s a narcissist and my current husband (for now) acts like one. I’m trying to just deal with it and wait for the time to pass so I can just move on with my life and live the way I want.

      I have a brother who’s an asshole and compares himself to me, I might be able to help with a short advice. Ignore it, nod, and accept it. They’ll feel bad later on in life and apologize for their guilty conscious based on how nice and helpful you are, it’s better to repair the bridges than destroy it. It’ll pass but it’ll take time, so in short, endure it a little longer, it’ll pay off. Trust me on this one.
