Heyyy just wanna vent a bit I've been having blood pressure issues (that I've had for a while now) despite my diet of "more salt, more water", etc. and I just had to walk quite a bit (I usually use a wheelchair due to other disabilities) and my feet are BLAZING. Like they're not hurting, but they're so incredibly hot, I've nearly passed out twice today, I've been really lightheaded, and I'm just overall very sucky. And it sucks to have people tell me to just eat more salt and drink more water because I'm sorry, either I'm severely deprived of both of those things (+ more, and I'm not, I do everything recommended consistently) or everyone does this and I just had no clue. Which apparently they don't or they wouldn't be telling me this??? Just annoys me to no end to have something happening that everyone plays off as down to me not doing everything right, when it's definitely not that and I'm in severe suckland for an unknown reason nobody cares about.

Not sure if you’ve tried them before but maybe compression stockings for your calves. Sometimes blood pooling can cause your feet/lower limb to feel really hot, caused by being in a seated position for a long time. (Maybe check with a doctor first about using compression stockings, just in case they think it’s something else) :)

i’m sorry to hear you are going through this. it sounds awful. have you had your blood pressure taken? is it too low or too high? if it’s causing you that many issues i don’t see why someone wouldn’t be putting you on a blood pressure medication. have you ever had your blood sugar levels checked?

@stxrberrym00n If it's that squeezing arm thing yes, no idea, not that I'm aware of. Nobody really seems to understand that this is a 'this is actively making life harder' issue rather than 'this is a little annoying/uncomfortable' issue. My mother tried to tell the doctor it was because of anxiety before I talked over her (it definitely isn't) so that might've swayed it? Idk.

@Starcycle if possible it might be a good idea to purchase a blood pressure monitor so you can do it at home. that way you can see if it’s your blood pressure causing these symptoms or something else. i’m sorry people aren’t taking your health seriously, i know that sucks
