Also to add to that, people who have ADHD symptoms that try to start in one room and get mixed around and waste the day I have a tip for you!! You can scroll down if you already know you have troube with that. If you're not sure if you fit the category here's an example: so you get typer stuff to clean and you plan on cleaning one room at a time so you start in one room and as you go you then find an item that's supposed to go to a different room so you take it back to its rightful place only to see the dishes you left in this room earlier today and think oh let me take this to the kitchen real quick and get back to cleaning so you put the item you were holding down and then grab the dishes only bring them to the kitchen and put them in the sink and think to yourself well ill have to do dishes later anyway so at least let me soak the dishes in some hot soapy water only so they'll be easier to manage later you start the water and reach for the dish soap only to remember that you forgot to buy more soap and your practically out so you need to go put it on the shopping list and so on and so on until you wasted the day and still didn't get the one room finished. Sound familiar? Well the tip I have for you is to buy a small to medium sized organization box (something comfortable to carry but not excessive and not too tiny). Take that box and bring it into the room with you and anything you find that is supposed to go in a different room goes in the box and you continue on in the room and organize and clean and you should focus on staying in the room unless you need to come out for any other reason like grabbing more cleaning products or biological needs like using the restroom or grabbing a snack but finish up the room and then take your box of collected items and go into their respective rooms and put those items away or at least in the correct room until you can get to cleaning that room. That way you don't get distracted with another task and can focus on cleaning one room at a time. But there is one rule you HAVE to stick to no matter what. You can't leave items in that box. That's the rule, you have to empty the box so you have it ready to start with next time you clean. Think of it like eating off a plate, you need to clean off all the old food and debris and bacteria before you put it away and serve a new meal on it. Because if you don't empty the box it becomes a clutter box and you made your job harder. Hope this helps!! šŸ¤—
