Feeling Weird Being Left Home Alone

I can totally relate to this. I thought that living on my own, I would be fine. After a few years of trauma, I thought taking a step back from everything has helped. It instead made it incredibly difficult to want to go out and do things.

I experience this too! But for me, I think it's just because I get paranoid when I'm home alone. My mom recently started working the night shift at her job and I'm finding it harder to sleep at night because of it.

I completely understand this! I LOVED my alone time and when my husband would leave or go away on trips, but after my thyroid issues and loss of my brother-in-law, I am on edge or have anxiety attacks whenever he goes away. I can normally breath through the attacks and calm myself down enough to relax, but its always simmering on the surface and makes it worse when I am anticipating it. 😥
