Anyone get kind of embarrassed when you have to use mobility aids when you look young and generally healthy. For example I use motorized carts in most grocery stores because walking that much gets very painful after a while. But I don't have any obvious signs of my joint pain/chronic pain so people tend to stare. Which really bothers me due to my insane social anxiety and phobias of people/being in public/being stared at. I also sometimes use a pair of crutches to help with my knees/hips coming out of place and being really painful. But I don't wear any braces. I just lift my leg and use the crutches. So again I "look like I don't need it". Any tips or anyone feel the same way?

All the time, it's like they expect you to not have any problems if you're under the age of 50.
