Does anyone else get unreasonably angry? Like, I lash out at my mom all the time get really angry and go to my room. She cant remember a lot or can never hear me (she's 42). she's always so confused and blames me or my step-dad if she doesn't do something. She lashed out at me. saying I run away without talking about it. Thanks to trauma I have a severe fear of conflict, that's why I head to my room when she makes me mad. She spent a good 30 minutes gaslighting me. Saying I was in the wrong and how I think is f-ed up. This was a month ago. ever since then I've kinda been in a weird limbo. Now it's my Long distance friend I'm getting mad at. he's always so pushy! he always wants to call and text and it's awful. he gets upset if I say no. I don't wanna talk that much. I'm scared I'm gonna lash out again and lose him.

In my life, my mom is basically the same way, downplays everyone's emotions and makes it other people's fault for her feeling a certain way. It always makes me mad but I try to remember that she didn't have a good childhood and she's going through shit right now, not that it's an excuse for her to be bitchy but yeah. Also if someone doesn't want to learn about how to talk to you when you want space or respect it when you do ask for space I don't think they actually care about you as a person
