I'm on a good streak with not picking my legs which has been my biggest problem area for as long as I can remember, but now my picking has moved to my chest and stomach. Any advice?

Tighter full coverage clothes help me, I also lotion my hands a lot since I don't want to wear gloves to prevent picking at them

This might not work for everyone but sometimes wear clothes that covers the area you’re struggling with picking can help. When you go to start picking there it is like a physical barrier that will make you realise what you’re doing. It may be frustrating when that happens but it gives you time to realise what’s happening and try distract yourself in anyway you can and will help reduce harm

Mine started on my back and gradually spread over a few years. Any time I’d try to stop picking I’d end up just picking at a new spot. I don’t have any advice, but I’d also like to hear if anyone else has any. (It’s still spreading too, I keep thinking I’ve run out of places to pick but now I’m doing behind and inside my ears, around my privates, inside my bellybutton, places I didn’t even know I could pick at…)

@TaetaeRyn if your problem areas ever make it to your legs I can absolutely recommend using compression socks. having something tight and annoying to take off really helps me.
