does anyone have any tips for making friends as an autistic person? im a university student and i have yet to meet another autistic/neurodivergent person! i try very hard to make friends but for some reason i feel that people dont like me. especially at work people treat me weirdly. they are nice to me but in a "be nice she has autism" kind of way. they avoid talking to me on their own terms but when i strike up a conversation they usually say a couple things and walk away. :(
