In 2019, we had a tornado almost hit our house. It completely destroyed a neighboring town. As a kid, we were really afraid of tornadoes, thunderstorms, and high winds. Now whenever there’s a bad storm, we’re terrified it won’t miss us again. There’s another storm rolling in with possible tornado conditions, and I’m doing everything I can to keep our system calm, but it scares me too—as much as I hate to admit it. Does anyone have any advice for dealing with weather/natural disaster related trauma? —Bakugou
