When I feel like I'm going to lose it I try to redirect the energy, Working out until I'm exhausted, ranting in my journal with voice memos, screaming into a pillow can help take the edge off. Then I reset by putting myself in a very soothing environment. I turn off all the big lights, burn incense, listen to my comfort music, and take a hot shower in the half dark. It typically helps at least a little.
