Fatigue can be so hard. And it can be caused by so many things. Anything from poor sleep to anemia to malnutrition, or just as a symptom all on it's own from depression and/or anxiety and other mental health problems. It can be helpful to address the physical problems first, bc those can be much easier to actually treat. Definitely ask your doctor. They can do blood tests to see if you are lacking anything. If that's not the problem, there are still more reasons. Fatigue can be caused by poor sleep which can be caused by a MILLION things including acid reflux, sleep apnea, anxiety, poor sleep hygiene, and more. If it's still none of those, it can be just plain old depression. Then it becomes more about your second problem: mood boosting. The easiest answer is to engage in activities you love to do, surround yourself with people you love to be around, and eat foods you love to eat (within reason). The more difficult things (at least to me) are the things that take work. Ex. Exercise, fighting the urge to stay in bed, making sure you eat a healthy diet, staying accountable with these self-nurturing acts, etc. A very good first step for any mental illness struggles is to ask your therapist tho. They will get to know you and you can work with them on what things work for you or don't. I wish you the best of luck! ❤
I'm wondering if you have seen a psychiatrist recently? Maybe that would be helpful if they could evaluate your fatigue and see if that matches up with other symptoms or give you meds for increasing your energy? Feel free to dm me if you'd like to discuss this with me!
Yeah it is. I have depression since 16 so that could be it.
oh ok. mental illnesses are hard. sometimes they can cause fatigue just because they are so hard to battle
I’m not on any or have taken anything recently.
are you on any antipsychotics or narcotics? that could be making you fatigued
