Does anyone with Type 1 diabetes suffer with pain and tingling in their hands fingers and arms if so what does it mean and can it be reversed

I developed numbness and tingling in my hands and feet last year. Coming up on 30 years of T1, I figured it was diabetic neuropathy, but when I was sent for an EMG, it turned out there was nothing detectable in my feet, and carpal/cubital tunnel syndrome in my hands. The tingling in my feet eventually went away (might have been poor posture while working at home?), and I’m seeing good results with braces and ergonomic products for the hands. It was a bit of a long process to get checked out, but I’m glad to have an official diagnosis that turned out to be more mild than what I thought.

neuropathy, it cant be reversed but there are some meds (sertraline) that can help w circulation, lionsmaine mushrooms also can help regenerate the nerve damage that causes neuropathy. i was diagnosed 11 years ago and no matter what my blood sugar looks like i have never really fully been able to feel my hands or feet, and its very likely to be permanent but the frequency of such can be reduced with insane effort n time
