I have lost all my friends after getting sick in 2020. I had gotten my second head injury in a car crash after being sober for a couple years, i had terrible migraines everyday for 2 years after this car crash. Weed ended up being the only thing that helped the pain. My sober friends did not agree with this, even though my doctor did. two months later my best friend and my ex (who i was still very in love with) died. Somehow two weeks apart (i was present for one of them) and all my friends officially separated themselves from me, since i was no longer sober in their eyes and i hadn’t “stopped” my best friends death. To make matters worse i have a twin sister who is healthy, and people love. She receives the support she needs and she is getting married soon. We couldn’t even talk for almost a year because we couldn’t handle the pain. I’m in all kinds of therapy thank god! But i really do miss having community, nothing beats great friends..

I am in a similar situation with losing all family and friends for the most part no one agrees with me using weed or the different meds the drs have me on other than my husband and because i cant work or drive i am isolated and feel alone! I find that having my pets helps a lot! Therapy helps! Friend on fb that dont know my real issues helps too!

If weed helps then they are not really your friends for the idea that you need to quit using it. My best advice for your situation is to speak with your neurologist about anything that could help better as well.
