I feel like giving up… I’ve had suicidal thoughts with visualizations all day today. I don’t want to fall victim to them… I want to make it through. At what point should I consider going to the ER?

      I wish depressed people who has been suffering for years should be able to gain access to help to pass peacefully as terminal illness people do

      I worry about suicide as to if it doesn't work right having to explain yourself to loved ones who wont understand. And also being left after the event disabled and unable to gain access to try again for successful suicide

      Be careful looking things up online because some websites can track your IP address and somehow they're able to contact police thru that.....just sayin'

      Same, I think about lots of different ways I could easily leave the world. I often think about my surroundings and what I could use. Last night was really rough but I didn't go to the ER I sat in my bed and cried it out, I also looked up easy ways online. I couldn't just go to an ER so I did the next best thing and went to sleep. I can control most of my dreams so I tried to calm myself and forget the problems of my awake life.

      If I went to the ER every time I made plans, I'd be there more than I'd be at home!

      I have these a lot. I find that I disassociate and I come to these thoughts. Even randomly. I am scared to be alone most days because of these thoughts. I know it’s not normal to think like this, but idk when it is a good time to go to the hospital for it. I feel like since I am not “trying” I’m just thinking about it, I am confused

      Whenever you feel like you can't get out from under the pain and thoughts. I was admitted to the hospital several years ago, and found that it was the best thing I could do for myself. I was thinking and planning and starting to really scare myself and I didn't have anyone who could help me. So I called my therapist and she said she'd call ahead and I went home to pack a bag and went to the hospital. Everyone was really nice and it was a really good decision.
