Struggling to Receive Mental Health Care

YEP!!! the system is beyond broken. I intend to go into a public mental health career down the line, and every shitty experience I have stokes the fire under me. it’s insanely frustrating to be forced to wait when you’re in crisis, to be gaslit and not taken seriously by professionals, to get tossed around to different providers who you have to explain yourself to all over again, etc etc etc. but at the end of the day at least it motivates me. I hope to repurpose all of the mistreatment and do everything I can to prevent others from going through it
