Anyone finding success in managing their anxiety without medication?

      Hi everyone I also deal with anxiety I've found keeping my self busy I have 3 kiddos which my anxiety still pecks at times though the day I have to try an switch my mind to something eles or if iam siting atm get up an do something though the house like house cleaning keeping my mind busy seems to help alot seems to peck more when iam very tired or stressed med are not my go to iam also afraid to take them canibis I have not tried in my older yrs but my younger year I had some bad experiences with it so to freaked to try lol I wish you all happier days it dose seems to roll with depression

      It how I managed my anxiety. I still get occasional attacks but there often caused by a strenuous problem.

      Acupuncture - helped me more than meds ever did.

      The first thing my therapist taught me was grounding myself. Focusing on my five senses while counting backwards like think of five smells, four taste, three things you see, two thing you hear, and one touch. (You can arrange the senses anyway you like.) I was also incourage to use my "happy space in my head or in my case my imaginations happy person."

      I used to be able to manage it with physical activity. Dance or dance fitness helped a lot. Unfortunately due to health reasons I can't right now. Some people use yoga or walking in nature.
