Hi everyone, I live with a myriad of conditions on a daily basis. CW: possible disordered eating trigger. I have IBS-C with outlet dysfunction. I see my new GI doctor next month. Despite trying low fodmap, pelvic floor therapy, miralax, magnesium supplements, and other over the counter laxatives my symptoms aren't improving. I'm having some anxiety today because my boyfriend and I will be driving for 3 hours this afternoon to see my goddaughter for her birthday. I haven't 💩d in like 4 days. We have a 3 hour drive this afternoon. I know I'm going to be uncomfortable the whole time. I haven't eaten anything yet today and feel okay but, I know the moment I eat something I'm going to be in pain.😓

I’m so sorry. I know the struggle. I just got prescribed Align (probiotic), have started a super strict low FODMAP diet, and got prescribed Linzess. I was curious if you’ve tried it or similar prescription laxatives bc I’ve heard you have to stick with it. I was constipated for 5 days straight and an enema was the only solution 😢

Ask your gastroenterologist about trying prescription medication to help ease your constipation.

Ever tried Mag07? It's the only one that works for me. Also, how old are you? If you're pre-menopause then your stomach issues and constipation could be caused by adenomyosis and/or endometriosis.

Have you try taking enzymes before meals? And probiotics every morning? That helps me big time. I hope you have great time

@Rosy88 I've tried several enzymes and probiotics including some more expensive probiotics with no luck. Beano and lactaid seem to help with pain when I eat trigger foods but, that's it.😥
