Hi POTs friends. What drinks besides water do you drink yo help with your symptoms? Or to make water taste different. I am now having some issues making myself drink lots of water. Like sports drinks or electrolytes drinks?

I've been using electrolytes in water through my g tube to help me managed more physical activity

I love drip drop’s hot apple cider packets! You can make it hot or cold so it’s either spiced cider or apple juice!

i like the propel powder packets since they add flavor, but buoy is a liquid additive that doesn’t add flavor to your drink so it can be put in anything !

I've noticed there are a lot more electrolyte powders on the market than when I was first diagnosed. I save my more expensive liquid IV or drip drop for days I know I'm going to need hydration more and have some propel, Walmart brand, or just the true lemon stuff for days I need it less or just want some flavor to all that water I have to drink!

i use KeyNutrients electrolyte powder. the lemonade one tastes pretty good and in my experience it really helps with my heart rate

Liquid IV is good, you just add the powder to a water bottle, however it makes it thicker feeling than just water and tastes alittle salty (I've tried the fruit punch and lemon flavors). If those might be an issue, Gatorade is good too. I personally really like the "gatorlyte rapid hydration".

Lucazade sport as can't have fizzy also electrolyte tablets in water. I also find juice is better than water but not sure if that's a pots or gastroparesis thing

I like Powerade zero! It has plenty of electrolytes but not all the sugar that normal Powerade does. I also use saltstick tablets! They are chewable, but there are other brands of electrolyte tablets you can put in water. I don’t like those as much but some people do!
