Does anyone feel like they are missing a diagnosis that would really make the difference?

@Krist98 I actually have already gone to a chiropractor & he did x-rays. He noted the narrowing in my rt hip joint too. Actually saw him before my original ortho Dr. Thank you tho for your input

I believe how sick I have gotten lately and how bad my lungs have been could be a sign of something beyond immunodeficiency and asthma

That was how I felt before I got diagnosed with autism and dyslexia. Before then I couldn’t understand why I had such a chard time picking up ques and my own emotions of being able to read simple books and getting totally different interpretations than others. When I learned and got diagnosed it made everything better

I say just go for it and explain it the best you can. The therapist can ask clarifying questions and/or may have an idea of what you mean. I'm not sure if this makes you feel better but personality disorders don't really develop like other mental health disorders. It's one of those you have from a young age (or from brain injuries/trauma) or you don't. That being said, it definitely sounds like something is going on but it's likely not a personality disorder. A common but not discussed symptom of anxiety is actually being irritable, so it could also just be an increase in anxiety. Either way, the therapist can hopefully give you more direction. It's definitely worth talking about and I hope you can find some help from your therapist!

I have anxiety, but honestly I think it’s turning into more of a personality disorder. I have random angry outbursts and get mad for no reason. I would like to talk to my therapist about it but not sure how I would explain it ..

Absolutely. I’m so exhausted from trying to figure it out and none of the doctors work together

Yes but actually I went to the doctor last Wednesday and he did a bunch of blood work so hopefully I will have answers soon. I can see the lab work but don't know my exact diagnosis

Does anyone challenge their doctor's diagnosis? I've been having pain in my right groin. My ortho Dr who retired end of last year warned me that I was looking at a hip replacement down the line. I had seen this Dr for 15 yrs. He did bilateral knee replacement on me as well as an Achilles reconstruction. In trust what he told me. I see a new ortho Dr now who did x-rays of my hip & said there's a little narrowing in my hip joint but not enough to warrant a replacement. By the x-rays, my hip has not gotten better & by the pain I'm feeling it's gotten worse. I told the new Dr what my original Dr had told me & he just scrunched up his nose at me, real professional. Anyway what's everyone's thoughts.

@Lakeside5 I’d recommend going to a chiropractor to check your hip out and see what their point of view is. I’m a chiropractic student and have noticed that there are a lot of hip issues that can be improved with chiropractic care. Xrays are also viewed and presented differently.
