does anyone else have excessive sleepiness on sertraline? like. I used to sleep maybe 6-8 hours and be fine, and now I sleep 11-13. I feel like in literally awake long enough to go to work and then I'm asleep again....

@astridd from what I've read, that's normal! It takes about 6-8 weeks for your body to adjust. I was on 75mg for about a year and increased to 100mg about 3 months ago. I hope the sleepiness eases up for you soon! Best of luck š„°
I noticed it at first way back when I started taking it in 2011 at 25mg. Although I could sleep 12+ hours in high school and early college anyways. I don't notice sertralines sleep effect anymore unless I haven't been getting good sleep.
Woah I don't take that medicine but I definitely would tell my doctor about excessive sleep that doesn't sound good. I mean if I had more sleep I would wake up feeling fucky

It's basically the only thing that helps me sleep, even if it's excessive at times
