I’ve just started tapering off of lexapro. I’m kind of scared of the withdrawal affects when I stop it completely because when I just miss a single dose I start crying and throwing up all day. Any natural remedies for discontinuation syndrome?

Yeah! I’m super sensitive to medications. After only 2 weeks of opiate use (after surgeries) I got cold sweats, overheating, mood swings, etc. I think I’m just gonna stick to natural remedies for depression and anxiety!
Wow! I have never experienced anything like that and I've gone cold turkey off of morphine. If missing one dose has that severe a reaction, I would say you definitely want to get off it, tapering as your doctor tells you.

Oh no that’s no fun! No I’m going to try no antidepressants but I read the withdrawal effects can be gnarly. I already have horrible headaches and nausea.
Are you going to start taking something else? I remember crying alot when tapering off but I started Viibrid shortly after that medication but I was taking Celexa which is a hybrid version of lexapro i believe
