Anyone been switched from brand name Adderall XR to generic? I feel it’s not as effective, might be in my head. Thoughts?

I was switched from amphetamine/dextroamphetamine to Adderall XR and I haven’t noticed a difference..

My doctor said there shouldn’t be a difference. But idk. Maybe in my head but I find that hard to believe. Lol but never know
I asked my friend that switched to the generic type about it. He told me quite the same. After a while with the generic type the differences were so little so he kept on with the generic.

I will, so far I feel a little better. I go tomorrow to doc. It feels like the generic takes longer to adjust to and longer to kick in it that makes sense.

I googled it and found the same complaints. I didn’t find any difference so I use the generic type which obviously cheaper. Maybe the combination with other meds makes it less effective. Do you take anything else?

Such a shame it's like that, it feels like you can't save money on these meds because it will have a direct effect on your health 😥

I've tried it and it was terrible. Made me feel wired and kept me up all night when the brand name allowed me to sleep

Are you still using it?

Some of my friends from school say the same thing. For me there is no difference at all. When did you start using the generic type?
Ehhh 😬 gotta love it! Haha
Technically the active ingredient and dosage are the same, but sometimes generic drugs have different fillers or coating and some people might be slightly affected by that 😥

I’m not sure. But I’ve felt it hasn’t worked as well as the brand name. I’ve done research online and seen people say the same thing. Wanted to know if anyone had any experience with this.
Whats the difference?
