My neurologist and clinical nurse practitioner will not prescribe or refer me to a psychiatrist or someone who can prescribe me with meds for ADHD? Which specialist can help me?

      Call your insurance and ask for a GP or therapist that specializes in such things that's in network in your area. Keep looking around till you can find someone who is willing to help. Personally speaking I've never had a bad experience with Allina. One you find someone you like, ask if they use MyChart. If they do amd you don't have it, ask for help getting it set up. You can use it to message your doctor and set in person or online appointments.

      You can make an appt with a Psych office without a referral. Call your insurance they can advise you on offices that take your insurance. Good luck. Keep advocating for yourself

      Try setting up an appointment with your primary care doctor. Usually they can give you a referral after talking to them. Can do virtual
