Feeling Used and Unimportant

To an extent, every relationship/friendship is transactional and it sucks. Everyone only sticks with other people they get something from, and some people never learned that they actually have to give as well in order to maintain a relationship. It’s not a sleight against you at all, and it’s more for the other person to mature and realize they need to y’know… give something back. Don’t let those people rule your emotions though, no matter how hard it can be. Like I said, relationships are transactional and if you aren’t getting anything from them and have no obligation to stay around them, don’t. I hope it gets better though because I understand exactly what you’re going through! :)
