I am having serious problems with my ptsd. Certain events, songs, words, and even some peoples voices can trigger panic attacks and randomly cause me to break down. Is there anyway I can help with this?

The only thing I know that helps is to remove yourself from the situation and take a few deep breaths by yourself. Having a friend or coworker that can text you when your trigger is over can help too. So you know when you can step back in.

@MintLad seconding this. I call my dad and it tends to settle me down. I'm just scared of what I'll do without him so I'm working on DBT
