Hey, got diagnosed with bpd in 2017 and been on abilify and lexapro since then. I’ve done about 7 years of DBT therapy and 10 years previously in talk therapy. I’ve been stable till about a month ago when my favorite person left me. I’ve been having a very hard time functioning since. What’s the best way to get out of this ptsd infused depression? I feel absolutely awful and have been taking recreational drugs to forget the pain but that’s causing new problems…
If you aren’t back in therapy, I’d start there. If you are and that’s not enough, consider an add on medication. Spravato is great for treatment resistant depression.
