I know someone who is like this but if you makes feel better if people i know im my field which is a stem major we cant do or remember simple math and im serious. Im a very slow learner and i think what helps me the most is writing down things and looking at them again and quizzing myself. As far as physical health i heard berries are good for memory and i think they helped me get through crazy memory based classes. I get small things of blueberries, blackberries, and rasberries. I love strawberries but i dont think they were mentioned in what i read. My memory keeps getting worse or worse i think its stress thankfully not an injury that i know of. Hopefully others get on here soon who had actual injuries and what they do or know. But dont be hard on yourself if you can help it all it will do is make you upset. Im the same way and im learning it just pushes away from me trying to obtain info.
