Does ADHD progress with age?

i’ve heard that adhd can change as your hormones change and adjust (ie. puberty, menopause, literally any changing of hormones in your body!!) but i’ve heard with these changes, 1/3 or people with adhd get better, 1/3 stay the same, and 1/3 get worse.

Im not sure about necessarily progressing but I know ADHD presentation can change as you age. I used to be very inattentive, then became way more hyperactive late teens and needed a lot more stimulation. So it seemed my ADHD got worse but no it just showed a more obvious set of symptoms than I had prior. Not sure all of what aging does to ADHD though.
