Use to take those hormonal pills but they didn't do anything for me stopped Was taking metformin at one point ..and clomide....stopped after becoming depressed....period stopped for five years..then started coming again after I went vegan for a year...the stopped immediately after I ate chicken...then mysteriously appear for 3 weeks straight heavy....went away again for 2yrs...went to doctor did a pelvic exam... Came home a month later period came... After taking selenium, zinc, maca ashwaganda...period came until presently it started to come as spots... Yes 5days wore panty liners so I tried the eu natural hormones period came last month on natural flow... Myo inositol and d chiro insitol r the ingredients....it work and my hormones weren't all over the place ...and my mood swings I took an ashwaganda and CBD gummies ...

@ladybridge I haven’t, hope it works well for you though. I have found that (usually) the lower estrogen ones seem to have less nasty side effects.

Yeah I know I've tried so many things. I just got new birth control pills do you get bad side effects with yours?

@ladybridge a few but far more mild. I pair it with herbal medications to help the mood swings (the only big side effect for me), Evening Primrose seems to help with the side effects and prevents blood clots, as well! A lot of other herbs are good for PCOS, but just research to see if they don’t interfere with your other medications. 😊 I went on one and it was so bad I had to stop taking it mid-cycle, so it’s a complete toss up but so far Sprintec has been pretty kind to me.

Metformin, Sprintec, Spironolactone and Evening Primrose seem to be my magic potion so far 😊 Hardest part is finding a birth control/hormone pill that doesn’t make you go totally bonkers lol I’ve tried 3 or 4 and so far Sprintec does pretty well.
