Does any one else seem to feel like your fibromyalgia/pain over time seem to get worse even though the experts say that doesn't happen? Or maybe your body gets use to the meds so they aren't as effective?

@Tiny what’s the name of the fibromyalgia newsletter? Have you found it helpful? Sorry I just joined today, looks like I missed a lot!!

Yes it happens to me at random times, pain, burning, skin crawling, alodynia , even my arm and leg hair hurts so when that hat happens I feel like a freak rushing to the bathroom to shave it all off. Usually always wear sweatpants so if my skin starts hurting I can at least take them off and just wear shorts.

Same but sometimes I shut down for at least 48 hours.

Mine tends to be based off of what I did yesterday. If I did to much I feel awful and can't do anything the day after.

Unfortunately yeah I feel like a lot of meds lose their effectiveness :/ i don’t really know if it’s gotten worse but my joints crack a ton more now than they used to, and most on their own😭I’m having trouble finding a med that actually makes a difference and improves my quality of life

Mine has definitely gotten worse. It fluctuates a lot, partially based on my level of activity, but also just at random. Some days are OK, other days I can barely move.

Mine is a lot better since I have had neck surgery. The other effects are definitely way worse the older I have gotten. Right now I'm on Pregablen generic for Lyrica, and I have been taking a supplement called kratom for a little over 2 years. I feel so much better now that I am off the opiods! It has helped me with all of the aches and pains. I've also been getting better with my arthritis all over my body. It's also made me really look at other supplements for my eyes and skin, hair and nails. I plan on starting more like the omega fish oil for both my heart and my fibro. I've also been doing a little research and I signed up for a newsletter for fibro and I can't wait to read this weeks issues about reversing fibro. I will make sure I get the name of the newsletter to share every where I can think of 🤗 The most important thing is don't give up trying until you find something that helps you 😉🙂

Mine definitely seems to have gotten worse and lasts longer Not sure what else to do as I am allergic to most meds.
