I personally enjoy reading because I like to imagine me myself in the story line and submerging myself in it. Sometimes you can kind of lose touch with reality that way and the loneliness doesn’t feel so crushing. I also like guided meditations that allow me to imagine myself in other worlds, so kind of the same thing. I just literally take myself out of this world and place myself into another one. Works for me🤷🏼♀️

If there's something specifically on your mind with those thoughts find a podcast or a YouTube video about it. Talking to an an AI friend is different (replika is great). I also like meditation or to engross myself in a show or movie. I get this feeling a lot.

Family doesn't always understand. They have their lives, and usually they don't know how to help. Then they don't try very hard. They end up feeling guilty because they can't understand or "fix it" so that it doesn't happen.
My family doesn't listen
I get this a lot. The only remedy I have found is for me to reach out to a friend or family member and let them know how I'm feeling. I have to force myself though, I have horrific social anxiety. It's really a wonder that I have anyone to reach out to. Other times I have reached out to a community on social media. My art group or my mental health groups. Sometimes just posting "hey guys, crushing loneliness tonight. Anyone care to chat?" Will get a few responses. Unfortunately this tends to happen to me late at night when I've had a few drinks and can't sleep, but everyone else can. In this case I usually try to read a book, leave a few sweet messages for my tribe to respond to in the morning... Or people on social media are more likely to be up. Hope that helps! It's really, really hard for me to do, but I always feel better later.
@SweetandSourMama I jump on this app or cuddle with a dog. It helps. I can at least see that I am not really alone.
@faerywyrm I should do it more often.
@SweetandSourMama I wish I could talk to my friends and family about it.
