College is coming around and am low key nervous. I’m going to be a second year university student soon, and considering how my first year went, I’m kind of scared. I’ll be moving into a dorm room with two other people including me, which makes it a triple ;-; I’m not sure if I’m ready to restart and make new connections. Although I did make a few friends during my first year in college, I’m extremely introverted at heart. I’ll try my best to join in clubs and get myself involved as much as possible, but I’m also afraid that maybe my old college friends will move on with their lives and slowly forget about me too. They are friends that made my first year in college a lot better, but I know eventually they will find other people. When it comes down to things like this, I know it’s temporary. It can just be a hard pill to swallow sometimes. One day, I hope to find like-minded people who also want to make deep connections with people as much as I do.

I am also incredibly introverted and can definitely understand the discomfort or sometimes even fear of new people. I'm definitely afraid of losing my friends when the summer ends because they'll be started they're first year of college. While I do think that trying to get out there and meet new people right away can be a great way to make friends, sometimes it can become very stressful very quickly. If I were in your shoes, I'd just go on with classes and clubs and just let fate take it's course. I find that the best things in life happen by chance. I have been trying to adapt that kind of mindset where I just let things flow, but sometimes I also have a tendency where I need to push myself further and rush into things without really appreciating and seeing the situation as it truly is.
