hey whoever reads this… i am really in need of an as needed medication to take on days i go to work. i’m 19 and work part time three days a week. i get so anxious and worked up before going that i feel dizzy and it’s like reality isn’t real if that makes sense… like nothing is real and i’m in a dream or something. it’s really scary. today i was supposed to go to work but my brain just stopped being able to make thoughts and i couldn’t stop crying and breathing weird. i find myself rushing and drinking caffeine and rushing more and i just couldn’t do it. it’s like my brain broke. this has happened before. my psychiatrist put me on propranolol for work days but obviously it’s not working how i need it to. i would only be taking a prn the days i work, so three days a week. please, does anybody know of any medications i can take for those days to get me into work? i just want to feel normal and be productive, my brain is so mean :(

I had similar issues when I was going to school and it took a while for me to find the right meds. My problem was that I was having really bad anxiety to the point that I was missing school all the time, and was only able to be there for part of the day when I was there. My Dr put me on GABApenten because for most anxiety meds they would just stop working all together for me. GABA works for me, and it’s nonaddictive. I think I’m taking 600 ml. I also have to take a slight stimulant to calm down the rest of my anxiety and hyper ness that was left over. For that I take about 1teaspoon of matcha powder or 2 green teas everyday to take care of the rest of the extreme anxiety. I still have anxiety but it’s a lot better then it was
