i have a situation that not i'm sure how to go about. let's say my name is emilia and my friend's name is abby. we made this friend from school we'll call him ross. me and abby are at a sleepover over with ross and another male friend who is very nice and caring. ross has made me and abby very uncomfortable by being touchy and weird to the point to where i had to separate him from her to make sure she could sleep comfortably and without worry. he likes getting really close no matter how awake or far away you are. he has done this to me but got a little worse. all three of us wanna say something to ross but we're too nice and don't wanna hurt his feelings. i guess this is more of a rant but it's very uncomfortable and unpleasant.

I don't know if there is a best way of telling him, that probably isn't going to end up without feelings being hurt. He could have social issues, like some kind of spectrum disorder, and he might not be able to help his behavior. You definitely did an awesome job helping your friend be more comfortable and feel safer (which both your friend and you deserve to be comfortable and safe with anyone you are with). All I can suggest is trying to tell him as nicely as you can, without having a lot of anger or bad attitude in your voice, and let him know that you appreciate him as a friend, but his behavior is making you feel uncomfortable/unsafe. Whatever you try to tell him, just do so 'nicely' so he doesn't feel like he's being 'criticized' or otherwise 'attacked'
