Just got fired and my therapist thinks it's anxiety attacks

Well um... idk if I should say this but um... I just got a message from my boss saying I've been terminated cause I missed too many days and just like at my therapy appointment yesterday my therapist said that it might be anxiety attacks and that caused it was being afraid of being fired and working 8 hours again which I was a mess when that happened he did say I could reapply tho when I feel my medication is right so that's good I guess... great...

      Maybe you need anxiety medication and maybe a job were you can work from home. I take anxiety medication. Well I use to anyway. I wish you good luck though and feel free to contact me of you want 😊

      that's basically what I'm doing I'm taking a new medication for it it hasn't kicked in yet

        @hannahkat27 are you able to explain your situation to your employer? and maybe get a therapist/doctor's note to back it up

      So sorry this happened to you hun! Hope you get the time you need to rest up and recover. I was let go from my job last week and it sucks especially when I already have anxiety. And I hate interviewing for other jobs!! Hoping the best for you. As Ambier mentioned, maybe you can start managing your anxiety via medication if that's an option for you.

        @Ambier thank you it means a lot but idk any jobs to where I can work from home but maybe I can try to find sum else or just reapply when the medication kicks in
