I get heart palpitations when lying down. I’m pretty sure at this point it’s correlated to my position. Sleeping on my side makes it worse…. But I literally need to lie on my side to fall asleep. My favorite position is on my side, but leaning forward crushing my arm. It literally goes numb after too long so I switch sides until I’m close enough to sleep, then I lie on my back and fall asleep. I still do get them lying on my back too, so that’s not the full problem. But like why is this such a specific conundrum, it’s kind of silly. I’ve already done a heart monitor for palpitations in general, I’m just awaiting results. I didn’t really think I had any actual problems but I just wanted to make sure. Idek what to think about this dumb problem

I don't know if this is an option for you or not but I find it helpful to sleep in a more elevated position sometimes to help avoid heart palps and chest pain. They make nice pillows for it though I've never tried one before. I'm also a side sleeper so I feel you Glad you're getting an EKG soon but I'd like to let you know that it might not have any answers. My heart is healthy as can be, clean EKG and Holter monitor, but I still have palps, chest pain, constant dizziness, etc. I don't know what other symptoms you may have but it might be worth looking into dysautonomia if you haven't already. It's usually overlooked bc not many people and doctors know about it. It can be frustrating for sure when you're having unexplained heart events, sorry you're going through the exhausting thing that is the diagnosis process rn Shoot me a message if you have any questions or want to chat, I hope you find some answers and relief soon 😊
