RANT (sorry) I'm in the process of getting tested for ADHD but the people around me are being really dismissive bc I don't fit the picture they have of someone who has it. the only people they've met with adhd all present very much outwardly, but I fit the more internal model. I didn't start considering this an option until I saw people online talking about how it is to have adhd from their own perspective and not from the outside perspective. I wholeheartedly believe I'm neurodivergent but I keep doubting myself bc of others. most of my family is neurodivergent, is it really that hard to consider I could be too?
