my mom has been pushing me to get a job, and I've been trying my best but it's so hard. I don't qualify for very many jobs. she's constantly telling me to get one and between that and other issues I have in my life I've been so stressed and snapping really easily. when I'm not snappy or stressed, I'm asleep. I slept through the entire day and worried my fiance. I'm not sure what to do

Try a stay at home job like Data Entry. There are very few meetings and you can do it in the comfort of your own home

I always find that it feels better to have help from a parent. I didn’t have this for a very long time until recently. Just be open and tell her like “hey, I don’t qualify for a lot because of … whatever… can you help me find something?” Unless you’ve tried that or you know that she reacts negatively. Do you have a friend that could help brain storm some ideas for you?

No one ever recommends disability, and I cant recommend applying either due to how hard it is and how to prove you're disabled. Maybe a small job would help like a part-time position at a soup kitchen. They dont pay well usually. I work at a food bank and its a small amount of people that also provides me with free food/hot meals

I used to feel like this, and I totally get the parental pressure, I eventually became self employed and walk dogs for a living, it’s the only way I could manage to earn money

I’ve had a history of losing jobs pretty soon after I get them because of my mental illness, I would suggest something 1 or 2 days a week to start and something really basic! Most jobs will train you and places like local restaurants or retail stores don’t need prior experience :)
