Does anyone else find that they really dislike having their legs straight when sitting or lying down? I always feel the need to have my knees bent and was wondering if it's a me thing, or an eds thing. Haha.

Yes especially if you’re on your back bc it accentuates the anterior tilt of the pelvis which can be a lot on the lower back

Sameeee!! I was just thinking about this, gets annoying cause I just can’t get comfortable no matter what I do but usually end up with knees bent or crossed didn’t make a connection to Eds though but makes sense cause of the joint pain

Yes! My PCP said this is a sign of restless leg syndrome which is not uncommon with EDS

It's like a compulsion for me to bend my knees... And then later I'm in pain from having my knees bent for so long!

Oh my goodness! Yes! I swear sitting with my legs “normally” is so much more uncomfortable! I’m laying in bed right now and my legs are crossed

I do this! I always sit criss cross apple sauce, and my physical therapist said normally people find that very uncomfortable.
