I agree. High salt, water. I do coconut water for electrolytes. Everything else makes me sick. Hate the meds. If my legs allow it I'll do compression hose
Caffine helps you? My cardiologist told me to lay off the caffeine. He said caffeine is a diuretic so it will dehydrate us more. I still drink caffeine but very little, especially when my POTS is flaring.
Might be a me thing but oddly enough when I'm having a bad flare I will sit with my legs up against a wall and an ice pack on my chest 😆 that will usually help my nausea or any mild chest pain I have
Extra salt (esp salty snacks during an acute episode), an unbelievable amount of Gatorade, and a beta blocker and caffeine that are actually for unrelated conditions but they help with POTS too lol
I noticed on your list you consume caffeine? That would be the first thing to go if you have pots. Managing your symptoms especially without medical care means listening to your body. If you're tired rest if you're dizzy sit down. Eat foods that are easy on the body which usually doesn't include anything fast or convenient you're going to have to possibly get rid of processed foods and eat more holistic or plant-based. The only reason for any of my Improvement is because I've been listening to my own body because I haven't found the right doctor yet.
