I am so sorry for your loss! šŖ I lost my dad in January this year. He had stage 2 prostate cancer, and his radiation treatments led to a sudden heartatack. Words cannot express the void and pain losing a parent leaves. š My thoughts and prayers are with you.
whatās amazing to me is how over the course of 200 thousand+ years of human evolution and technological discovery we only have radiation and literal poison chemotherapy. Itās sickening the durability and audacity of cancer.
I agree! And then we have Drs that use way too much, like my dad's. Although it is ridiculously hard to prove, so it's even harder to make him accountable. My dad had a doubled edged sword though. He had a stent put in on the widow maker part of his heart 15 yrs ago. The stent gave out under the stress of to much radiation.
I cannot fathom losing him at your age AND watching him die. I am so very sorry that happened to you.
Cancer is hard. It has been a little over a year ago since my boyfriend died from lung cancer. I can't relate to the pain of losing a parent, but I know how it feels watching someone you love be sick with cancer. It is an undescribable hurt.
