anyone else get super fed up with the mental state effect of your medical conditions mine are very intertwined so if I'm upset like every condition and my body goes haywire and it makes the mental stuff worse by being in a flare which starts that cycle that has to be broken but it gets tiring to have them so linked it'd be nice to have a bad day and not have it turn into weeks/months of flare. anyone else?

It’s horrible how each condition affects the other. If shit hits the fan with one, they all go tumbling down like dominoes! When my physical conditions start to cause problems, my mental health tends to go down with it.

I am the same way. If I get stressed out etc my health gets worse. My doctors are concerned that whatever stresses me out internal or external my health gets hit

Yes.. same. It is so tough especially when the symptoms overlap and you just do not know which chronic condition is to blame or if your body is trying to warn you of something completely new that needs to be addressed. Plus one condition can trigger another so it can make those flares last forever it seems. It is soooo exhausting trying to balance managing so much😞

I think the depression and fog that comes with fibromyalgia is worse than the pain.

Oh my god yes! I’m having gallbladder issues rn and so when I start to get anxious I get more and more pain which leads me to miss school and then get anxious about missing school lmaooo. And since I suffer from emetophobia and my main anxiety symptom is nausea, that’s a whole cycle. Am I nauseous cause I’m anxious or am I anxious cause I’m nauseous? Then I get even more nauseous cause now I’m nervous about being nauseous lmao

It definitely adds up I especially hate it bc enough mental stress and the stress wil just make my pain worse which then feels like I’m getting attacked on both sides those are the the times that are hardest for at least me to come back from

Yep. I get really severe (life-threatening) herpes flares sometimes and they are traumatic enough to cause their own trauma response, separate from the PTSD I already have.

Omg yes for sure and especially with pain issues it amplifies it I'm glad I'm not alone in that

✋same. It’s horrible when it just creates a bigger and bigger build up to a huge crash instead of just a bad day or two
