I know I'm complaining a lot on here but I have no where else to vent. I never feel good and my anxiety is always bad. this job is draining me already like I have no energy. How normal is having like zero energy all the time. I'm starting to wonder if something else is wrong. I know dr will say exercise but WHEN! I leave for work at 730 am and get home at 730 pm I'm exhausted. So it makes me hate my jobs. I've been leaving jobs the last year I've had 3 and I'm too stressed or tired at all of them. I can't afford to not be a General Manager but I HATE IT. but it's the only thing that pays me. I need to stop working 10 plus hour days. I don't know what to do anymore

@Squishlover honestly life is to short. If you really don't like tgat job im sure you can find another. If you have management experience so many places will want you. I know it sucks . I keep switching jobs because I'm just unhappy with anything I do. But I'm sure you can find somewhere that pays the same. Dont stay if that place makes life more miserable. Sorry hope I made sense I just feel so much of what you said.

So much to say, sorry for the long reply…I felt like I was reading something I would write when I saw your post. I don’t know all of the details of your life, but I totally understand what you’re talking about & how you feel when it comes to the exhaustion & not feeling well and the job situation as well. The exhaustion & not feeling well can be pretty much debilitating & make it hard to hold down a job. My last boss noticed my exhaustion & said that I seemed to “never feel well,” she ultimately told me to take a leave & get on temporary disability & figure out what’s going on. Have you had your thyroid thoroughly checked? If not, I’d have your doc run a FULL thyroid panel & tell him/her to check your TPO antibodies as well. I have Hashimoto’s thyroiditis (an autoimmune disorder) & my doc also diagnosed me with chronic fatigue syndrome, but I’m also just exhausted from the fight or flight cycle of anxiety which also makes me feel like crap. If you haven’t seen a therapist I’d definitely recommend finding one that you feel comfortable with, even if you have drag yourself & go on the weekend or have a video session. If you ever need to chat/vent feel free to do so. I hope you can find a doable “solution” to everything you’re going through.

@Gypsy_Soul I do see a therapist and it's prob the only thing that keeps me somewhat going. I am def in fight or flight mode for like years but it could be my thyroid. I just had everything checked but I still don't think it's normal to be this tired all the time. my family has hashimoto in the family also. I'm also over weight so I'm sure that doesn't help I get headaches daily and I just never feel well. the to have to work 10 hours or more and deal with a lot of stress at work I can't do it. I just started this new job and I dunno if I like it. I'm tired of being in management but it's the only thing that pays me enough. I don't know what to do

Maybe you could apply for social security disability. Do you see a doctor for your anxiety? I am on social security disability for my anxiety and depression. My doctor doesn’t want me working because my anxiety gets really bad like yours. Try to take it one day at a time or take it one hour at a time. God bless you

@Cancer I wish I could but I doubt I could survive off of disability. my rent alone is 2200 and it's a tiny one bedroom. I'm just so exhausted all the time I'm so burnt out
