Forgetting to Take My Asthma Medication

sometimes I forget I have exercise induced asthma because it's so well managed, that I'll be cleaning, going up and down crouching and huffing and puffing while cleaning up hella mold and just go "damn why am I so out of breath and dizzy" and then realize, whoops forgot I'm supposed to take my dulara before I clean djdjdhd

      i haven't met anyone else with exercise induced! people always think im lazy or stuck-up because i avoid running or exerting myself too much :')

        @not_b00bs oh God yeah it's the w o r s t. Thankfully my lung functioning have VASTLY improved since I was originally diagnosed (thank you choir exercises!) So I can do more (tho now my joints get on the way-) then I could when I was little. But still huff and puff enough to concern people when I rush up stairs. I wish people would just think! Asthma isn't all like the movies of the kids who get nerveous and have to puff a rescue inhaler 20 times a day. (You can't even do that anyway it's not good for ya heart) but that's all everyone goes off smh. 🤝

          @Marshmello LITERALLY YES. like you would think since asthma is such a common condition, people would be more educated about it?? but instead i get dumb questions like "so if your asthma gets triggered could you die 👁👄👁?" like, dawg, that is a WACK question to ask me

      I do that all the time too lol even when I'm smoking I'll start wheezing and wonder if theres something wrong with the weed until my partner hands me the inhaler

        @AnimalBoy oh my yes! I had to finally gets refill on my inhaler bc I used it everytime I smoked weed. Which was very often. Couldn't admit to the doc that's why I take it!

          @E_belli luckily mine is medical so I was able to adjust the dose without any anxiety about that but they didn't really ask why either? I just asked for more and they prescribed what my insurance allowed
