Applying for Blue Badge and PIP in the UK

I applied back in October had telephone and was rejected they basically changed everything I said, I have been advised to contact CAB to help fill in forms and reapply

Mine was awful, because of my conditions i found it really hard to fill out and in the end i gave up hecause while filling the forms out over and over again amd researching the criteria I relised I currently don't meet any standards because I live with my parents and my mum has a good paying job. I can theoretically look after myself (get dressed, clean and do things in general by myself) and I have a roof over my head. It sucks but I won't discouraged you. All I will say is to research the criteria and talk to someone who fills them out lots (I got advice and all I would get would be a thing saying I tried for benifiys and wouldn't get any) a main warning is its super strict and annoying and if you apply too often they will veto you automatically as they'd how corrupt our government is. Sorry for a downer but it was my experiences with filling it out and talking to the help services

When they ask you a question give the answers based on what you are like on your worst days, not just that day x

I have just been awarded pip and an in the motions for a blue badge. Make everything worse case scenario. It's horrible to do and the likely hood is that the report will not be remotely what you said or feel like. Also did my assessment over the phone to emphasize that I am bedridden because of I got up to go to the appointment in person it ' looks' like I'm fine. When in reality it would take me days to recover from it. However if you get awarded pip you automatically get a blue badge. However I am waiting for it to go through separately so that I get the blue badge for longer ( 3 ye instead of 2 which is when I would have be reassessed for pip). It's going to be shit and it won't be fair at all so just be prepared
